Based in Sydney, NSW, Flick Anticimex Pest Control servicing over 450,000+ B2B sites on behalf of 195,000 customers and over 1,000,000 residential customers, Flick Anticimex is regarded as one of Australia’s leading pest control and hygiene service providers.. Flick Anticimex contacted St.George Web Design for assistance with its internet presence, which was quite fractured and optimized, in August of 2012.

Without undergoing a comprehensive ongoing SEO strategy, the initial on-site optimization for this local SEO project has served Flick Anticimex quite well, as it saw a steady increase of organic search traffic over the first six months of the new site being live.

The Project Challenge

There were multiple challenges facing this search engine optimization project, starting with how Flick Anticimex had multiple sites directly competing with each other. Knowing they had to freshen the appearance and feel of a”canned” large box site solution they bought in prior years, Flick Anticimex’s issues were further complicated when they found they did not have either of the domains registered with their canned site solutions. Without paying far too much to buy one of the present domain names – neither of which held any significant rank authority – we needed to start new, building their new site on a brand new domain.

The ROI Focused Local Solution

Much like almost any regional local organic search engine optimization job, we initially started using keyword discovery, identifying all proper keyword goals that would induce the most qualified site traffic to the newest Flick Anticimex site. We designed and developed a new SEO-friendly site for Flick Anticimex, full of fresh optimized Meta Tags, URLs, and search-engine content assembled about our targeted keyword listing.

When the new site was set up, the alternative for greater local organic search placement for Flick Anticimex also demanded that we bring together their fractured presence and remove the other competing sites by canceling the contracts of their canned site alternatives and selecting a single phone number to use for neighborhood search engine optimization citations.
